Everyone on This Train Is a Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson
3.0
This is framed as a fun, murder mystery but, the murder ultimately hangs fully unrelated to the stories of the the rape of a woman and a murder-suicide of a child molester. While I initially liked the story the ending gave me the ick. Why include topics this traumatic, if only for a red herring.
Also, there is a subplot about the disdain forartificial intelligence. I understand the concern around this theme but, it came across a tad whiny. However, I think this was the point as that specific character was very unlikable.
All in all, this is a fine read and I like listening to it while doing some tedious work.
