I was lucky enough to receive and ARC of this one, and it was a very very anticipated read for me. It absolutely did not disappoint! Kate Canterbary writes my perfect man. Grumpy, growly, a little weird, a lot obsessive, and with a heart of gold. Beckett would do literally anything for those he loves, and I am as infatuated with him as he is with Sunny! I loved everything about this book, seriously I don’t even know where to start! From the supporting cast of characters, and the drop in of Noah and Shay, to the Easter eggs about her other books sprinkled in, to the casual mention of Fourth Wing, to the perfect doggos, I just kept squealing. The plot was captivating, with just enough adventure and nonsense to hold my attention completely.  There was one chapter like 80ish percent in, and I won’t give anything away, but it was the most fun I have ever had reading a chapter, seriously the best thing I have ever read. I also just loved how adult Sunny and Beck were, they handled the things that kept getting thrown at them with maturity, and had actual adult conversations most of the time. I loved it. I loved every second of it, and I think I need to read it again immediately!
