Deceit by Ava Harrison
5.0
LIFE IS FOR LIVING
Ava Harrison can write a book!!
OMGosh I’ve been really sucked in despite all the distractions around me while reading this (bloody kids on half term break!)
I didn’t have to reread a paragraph even before I continued from where I left off- so if that doesn’t say how strongly it grips you and imprints on your every sense... albeit not so good for my emotional state.
So about DECEIT- yes, there’s is deception, lies, untold truths, hidden agenda... emotional turmoil and plot twists, a lot of plot related twists!!
And our H, OLIVER, this man... this freakin man!! I found this particular gentleman to be so freakin swoon worthy! He’s handsome, romantic, and sexy AF!! Not at all your typical aristocrat.
And, ADDISON, beautiful, smart, business suave but insecure and fragile on the issue...
The chemistry between these two is so electric, and damn if they didn’t play a tennis or squash with my emotions...
This book will make you question things in your life: your state of happiness, whether you’re living or existing, how far you go for love, or to get over love, and would you/ could you really forgive deception...
There was a time I got seriously frustrated with these two and just wanted to give them a serious talking to, but things have an uncanny way of working itself out...
My only gripe is that I would have liked to see Addison be more self reliant emotionally.
Ava got the two worlds down to perfection, and I felt I was there with them, everywhere they went, enjoying some of the most endearing romance.
Highly recommend this book with 4.5/5 amazing stars
