I’m not really sure where to start because this book has so much! Basically everyone is a badass except Maeve and Erawan. Chaol grew on me but his dad is a jerk (I’d use other words but then I’d get flagged for language). Also so are the gods. Lots of excitement, sadness and unexpectedness. Female empowerment. Bonds of friendship and family. Read this series. Done
Honestly though this books (this series) is quite amazing. It always seems to leave me sort of breathless and it’s hard to talk about without spoilers. The world building and characters and just some of the best I’ve ever read. This series is just settled into my soul and is what all other fantasy gets compared too.
