The Betting Vow by K.M. Jackson

4.0

This was my fave of the three books. The premise of a bet that involves a 6 month marriage hooked me and I truly enjoyed reading about Leila and Carter. They're so different but the opposites attract angle worked.

Carter was so obviously into Leila from the start, that the poor man never stood a chance with this bet. And we saw the chemistry and sparks fly between them even though they were at odds thanks to the challenge that brought about the bet in the first place.

I liked that the growth of their relationship felt real. That while there was the TV show that Leila wanted to read for VS the one Carter (initially) and his boss thought she should read for, was an obstacle between them, as things progressed, Carter too believed Leila should test for both.

I just thoroughly enjoyed this one. I wished Jasper, Leila's agent and friend, was getting a book though. I liked their relationship alot! But I think the series may end at 3 books.
