this book was amazing. it’s one of those books i know is gonna stick with me for a long and i’ll be rereading again and again. i love the mystery behind everything and how well the author sets up the plot twists with foreshadowing, even if some of the them are a bit predictable, it’s so well written and entertaining that it doesn’t really matter.
i loved how it took a lot of time for poppy and casteel’s relationship to develop, and there wasn’t just immediate trust and forgiveness after the betrayal, that they both had to work for it and prove themselves to one another.
the battle scene was also extremely well written, i just enjoyed everything about this book.
