Honeymoon by Patrick Modiano

3.0

I've been wanting to read Modiano ever since he won the Nobel last year. This was sort of a random choice to dip my toe in and I really have no frame of reference since I haven't read any of his other books. This was decent, if a bit short. I felt like the plot could have been developed beyond its 120 pages, but it's still a pretty haunting novella. The whole thing reminded me of the prose style of Camus, crossed with the themes and plotting of Ian McEwan.
