This was a good book. I thought the perspective of a young girl, desperate to have any kind of meaningful life, drawn to the dark and exciting, exploring her sexuality, was pretty believable. The scene set in the 70s added to the nostalgic feel of it. I enjoyed this read more than I would have expected, probably due in part to how it was written. The climax of it panned out differently to how I expected - but I didn't mind because it made you think.
