I usually love venom comics but I can’t say this one was one of my favorites. There were aspects of it that I liked, it had the campiness and dialogue typical of 90’s comics which was very fun, but overall the story felt very disjointed. I’ve talked before how I wish more comics would go back to that sort of episodic, villain of the week style they used to have and this book seems to be making an attempt at that but it just feels over-complicated and bloated.
