Blood & Bones: Sig by Jeanne St. James

Holy crikey

This series is way grittier than the predecessors, and I like it. I've loved those series but this one? Yeah, I'm loving it. The first book had a lot more of the foundation of this club, which left more room for the story. Sig's backstory was rough, but good lord Red? Yeah, Red just took it to a whole new level. What she endured in her past was intense. However, it was her resilience that really shown through.

The surprise of previous characters was a nice bonus, especially getting to see a dream fulfilled for them. I'm really liking the direction this author is taking this series because it feels different and fresh from my previous favorites of hers. This is definitely a 1% club, so take heed to the warnings.
