Listening to the Dead by George Seaton
2.0
I'm not really sure how we are supposed to approach this book.
It's not a mystery, we know from the beginning who the killers are, and there is no sense of urgency about getting a resolution to the crime.
It's not a romance, at least not for me. What I see here is two men who once were lovers and now, at the end of their lives, they have regrets. But romance? love? I don't see it. Maybe comfort and companionship, but that's all.
And the paranormal aspect of the story is not really developed and I really would have loved to see more of it, particularly the aspects related to native American traditions.
Add to all this that the narration wasn't of my liking and... yeah, not my favourite book.
