A brutal and thrilling character drama, if one gets past the antiquated English used by Shakespeare, it is an extremely entertaining and rather poignant read, as with most tragedies.

I find the relationship between Brutus and Cassius especially meaningful, with their notions of camaraderie and
their eventual falling out
, it was a tale of brotherhood, betrayal and leadership all built into one beautifully written tragedy.
