Love on the Brain is the latest steamy and hilarious rom-com from Ali Hazelwood.  Dr. Bee Konigswasser, neuroscientist, gets a chance to work at NASA on BLINK a prestigious project they are developing about astronauts helmets. She discovers that her co-lead on the project is someone she used to know in grad school named Dr. Levi Ward, an engineer. Bee has always assumed Levi hated her because of the way he treated her in grad school. She’s less than enthusiastic about having to work with him. Once she gets to Houston, with her delightfully quirky RA Rocio in tow, many hilarious  hijinks ensue. She discovers that maybe Levi never thought of her in a negative light, and that she might not be correct in her assessment of the motivations of her other co-workers.

This was another fantastic contemporary romance from Ali! I was laughing and smiling my way through the whole book. I appreciated the emotional scenes that added so much depth to Bee and Levi’s characters. The spicy scenes were also *chef’s kiss*, particularly for a traditionally published romance novel. The bit of suspense towards the end of the novel was awesome as well. Ali is quickly becoming one of my favorite rom-com authors and I can’t wait to read Love, Theoretically next year!
