Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic by Sam Quinones

3.0

I was super excited to read this book because the topic of the opioid crisis in america is so interesting to me. I’ve watched almost every docuseries or show on the topic. However, this book was extremely disappointing. Took me about a month to get halfway through and I couldn’t bring myself to finish. Almost every chapter is the same story being told over and over and there’s not much of a plot. It also jumps around a ton between Mexico, Ohio, etc and it’s hard to keep up. Would love recommendations for other books on this topic if anyone has any!
