Daimon by Jennifer L. Armentrout

5.0

I read this book in a few hours... MY GOSH!!! I beyond loved Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I'm still obsessed with it, so I had major doubts whether I would enjoy the Covenant series... boy should I be punished for EVERRRR DOUBTING this talented author! Seriously I should be tortured and let to die a slow and painful death. I debated with my friend whether I should read Daimon BEFORE or AFTER Half-Blood but my wandering fingers grabbed the book and my eyes had a little sneak peek...

...This prequel was GOOD! Better than good! It was awesome and it had me so hooked I literally slept by my front door waiting for Half-Blood to be delivered. The writing - as usual - was witty, fun, simple, awesome, understandable, funny and had me loving Jennifer more than her drool-worthy characters.
I thought she wouldn't be able to pull off the Gods && Goddess concept - but AGAIN I was wrong and should have had forks stabbed in my eyeballs. =)

SHE REALLY KNOWS HOW TO WRITE A BOOK! This was a great introduction into Alex's world and I was more than hooked! What a great read. I'm sure as hell happy that my "wandering hands and peeking eyes" picked this up before starting Half-Blood.
Jennifer. L. Armentrout you really know how to write. I bet you can make the word HI into a masterpiece of writing. Seriously!

This was certainly the "awesome-mest" way to get me hooked when I doubted this series. I love it already. x)
