A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by George R.R. Martin

4.0

I really enjoyed this book. It was a great introduction to Dunk and Egg, who you hear about throughout the Song of Ice and Fire novels. I felt it did a great job of filling in some background. It gave more information about the beginning of the Targaryens, along with some houses that are no longer around in SoIAF. Overall, I highly recommend it. It's lighter on the violence than the other GRRM books, so I would recommend it starting at YA. I look forward to more on Dunk and Egg, but not until after The Winds of Winter is finished!! :)
