The characters in this are incredible. The writing is great as usual for Jennifer Lynn Barnes. However I got kind of bored half way through because it didn’t feel like there were any real stakes to the game like in the first series. They were just solving puzzles on an island made by a group of smart but not bloodthirsty billionaires. I did love what we learned about the characters and I’m excited for the next book.
