Famous by Marie Force

5.0

For a final book in a series, Marie Force hit it out of the park! It was fantastic diving again into the magical world of Quantum. In the past, as I read the other books, I laughed, cried and rejoiced in the HEA of the other partners. Now, in this one, we get to read about Marlowe’s love story. I was thrilled to see who is her love interest but was sworn to secrecy, so you will have to read the book to find out.

Marlowe is the best friend, the best actress, the best person around. As she herself says, being famous is her job, not who she is. When she arrived in Hollywood and lost her mother, Flynn took her in and became a mentor to her. He brought her into his family where they became her family too. When Hayden, Jasper, Kristian and Emmet join the company, they become like brothers to her. Then as they each fell in love and acquired a girlfriend/wife, these women became her friends. This Quantum group is like a family, the best kind there is because they are brothers and sisters of the heart.

As all the Quantum partners found their HEA, Marlowe rejoiced for them but also envied them. She also wanted that someone who completes you, the one you want to go to bed with all your nights and wake up with all your mornings. She was looking for love in all the wrong places and it didn’t bore well.

When something dramatic happens at the beginning of the book, the troop rallies around Marlowe and form a protection circle around her. Steps are taken for her security and action is taken to ensure the person responsible is destroyed, not physically but professionally and financially. In the midst of the crisis, Marlowe finds her love where she least expects it and now has to convince her love that she is his and he is hers.

There is some suspense in the book, but it’s mostly about love growing, love developing, a couple finding their groove, the whole Quantum group enjoying their closeness and their soon to be born babies, and the support and love they give each other. Falling in love with a movie star as talented as famous as Marlowe is nerve-racking for everyone and it’s easy to feel unworthy and not enough. It’s Marlowe job to convince her love that all she wants is her man, his love and his forever.

“I should get up, leave the room, walk away from her while I still can. Except I can’t seem to do anything but breathe and wish I was a better man so I would deserve a woman like her.”

This book was charming, enchanting, a bit cheesy at times but beautifully so, and so full of family love, friends love, support and giving and generosity that I loved even the kinky parts that are not my favorite thing. Everything in this book was sublime and it was a fantastic end to this series. There’s an additional epilogue that adds even more loving and heart-warm feelings to the story.
