Primates of Park Avenue by Wednesday Martin

4.0

In Primates of Park Avenue, author Wednesday Martin takes an outsider-turned-insider look at the behaviors and societal norms of Upper East Side women (mostly mothers). At times hilarious, sad, and scientific, the book exposes the seedy (yet toned) underbelly of a small 1% population of women whose admittedly first world problems are just as real (and valid) as is the survival of primates in the jungle. The book is a fascinating and funny read, and will be enjoyed by fans of The Nanny Diaries, Sex and the City, and science.
