Feared by Lisa Scottoline

3.0

I typically find Lisa Scottoline’s books to be fast-paced and well-developed. Unfortunately, Feared was a disappointment for me. It was boring and I didn't feel any connection to the characters as I usually do.

The story follows Mary DiNunzio, a young lawyer who is trying to make a name for herself at a prestigious law firm. She is assigned to a case involving a wealthy businessman who is accused of murder. Mary is determined to prove her client's innocence, but she soon finds herself up against a powerful and ruthless opponent.
The plot of Feared is fairly straightforward, and there are no major twists or turns.

It’s not a terrible book, it just wasn’t what I was looking for. 3/5 stars
