There is a lot going on in this book and I enjoy reading it. The author does an excellent job of world and character building for the reader to really immerse themself into the story. I will admit that it was a little slow-going for me in the first third of the book, but once it picked up, I couldn’t put it down.

With all the lies, secrets, and dark romance this story takes you on a roller coaster of feelings, many of them dark & twisted. The MC is pushed and pulled in different directions, not knowing who to trust…jumping back and forth between two men, both who claim to love her and both manipulating her in some way.

It leaves the reader grasping for what happens next, and I hope to read the next book and find out how much of a badass Raven is going to become when she owns who she is.
