Wicked Dreams, book one in the Fallen Royals series by S. Massery. I’ve never come across an S. Massery book that I didn’t enjoy, and Wicked Dreams was no different. This had all the drama and against of a bully romance set in the exclusive private academy of Rose Hill. Much like the FMC, who’s trying to put together the puzzle pieces of her traumatic past, the reader is also kept on the edge of their seat waiting for the next shoe to drop. This book kept the twists and turns coming. Just when you think you can trust someone? Nope, think again.

The dark and mysterious community of Rose Hill is so well crafted. There are unknowns hidden behind every corner. And friends from your past are now your enemy. Everyone is keeping secrets. EVERYONE. I can’t wait to read the second book in the Fallen Royals series, Wicked Games. I would have loved this series in high school, it would have been my
Roman Empire.

Disclaimer: This book ends on a cliffhanger. To tell you I was shocked when a major plot twist hit at 95% is an understatement. Also, the characters in this story are high school students - minors.
