Stories We Never Told by Sonja Yoerg

4.0

You can’t help but love the humanity of Jackie and later Miles and Harlan and Vince and Nasira but it’s Jackie whose story you cling to, wonder about and worry through.

I thought this would be a quick read romance with a twists instead I was surprised with a little taste of intrigue and a heavy dose of the secrets we all keep. And while it could have been a bit over the top it was closer to believable.

We all are Jackie just trying hard to not let our childhood color our adulthood and our last adult decisions not ruin our current lives. We all have moments when we realize who we are deep down may not be who we want to be. We all have moments we’d love to change and moments we know changed us.

Investing in Jackie’s untold story is worth the time. You’ll find yourself holding your breath a few times. Wanting to scream at a moment or two but mostly you’ll find yourself wanting to open a bottle of wine and toasting Jackie realization that to have it all you first must trust in yourself and in the hope of others
