The Husband Checklist by Jasmin Miller

5.0

This book was super cute, and it was about lifelong friends trying to navigate a new territory and explore the possibilities of a more intimate relationship. Julia and her brother Ollie experienced a devastating lose, their parents died and they both handled it differently. Julia, she became a shell of herself stepped away from being close to her brother and his best friend Carter. She started distancing herself until a breakup sends her packing to her brother’s house where she finds Carter staying there too. Carter is a sweet, loyal, and loving friend but he doesn’t do relationships because he saw how his parents crashed and burned in multiple marriages. These two have known each other all their lives so they know each other very well and Carter helps Jules rediscover her old self while they discover an attraction that’s been brewing between each other for years. I loved the push and pull that came with watching these two slowly fall in love while watching them battle against it for their own reasons.
