I love history, but I'm not a military historian. In most books I tend to skim past the nitty gritty of the charges and retreats of the battlefield. I actually read them all in this book. First, that speaks to the skill of the author. But second, I still can't ADORE a book with battle play by play. (It's a book about war, what was I expecting. 🤷♀️)
Moderate: Gun violence and Injury/Injury detail
