Claiming His Mate by A.G. Wilde

Great start to a series! I’ll be happy to read the rest of it!
Here’s a list of things that I enjoyed!
- lots of disability rep
- interesting premise and start to more common tropes
- brave, kind, but insecure FL
- really fun side characters
- great pacing, starts fast to really get you hooked, then slows down for a nice reprieve leading into the more intimate moments
- drama at the end was interesting and surprising
- scenes of them actually bonding before spice
- really good spice
- satisfying end for the couple but leads into more books, making me want to read
Here are some things I didn’t enjoy…
- lead aliens weren’t alien enough for me, more human like than I prefer
- lots of confusion because they just don’t talk enough, they needed to be more honest with each other
- the names are sometimes… odd just for the sake of it, not in a fun way, like I hate Klaok’s name so bad because I have no idea how it should sound
- not enough info about the ML’s people and home planet
