Hitched: Volume Two by Kendall Ryan

Did not finish book. Stopped at 2%.
I would not be continuing this series after enjoying the first one so much as not only did they changed the voice actor from Teddy Hamilton to Alexander Cendese but also completely removed Ava Erickson for Olivia’s point of view. I don’t mind not having Teddy Hamilton the issue is I got used to hearing his voice so when the story ended, I immediately went and grabbed the next story to listen to only to be found disappointed when I didn’t Teddy Hamilton’s voice but to also remove the female voice completely but have Alexander Cendese narrate both point of views. And then add the stereotypical accent for Rosita that felt like a slap to the face. I was gritting my teeth hearing Alexander narrating her lines because just like most people of color there is a stereotypical accent that is associated with our races that we cannot escape from. To me you could be born in the States and still be expected to talk with an accent. Some people would even be surprised if you speak “English well.” In the first volume it was mentioned a few words (which I still have an issue with) but when she talked in English she had no accent so I had believed that she had grew out of the accent as some people do but when I heard it in the volume 2 I just couldn’t even as much as I tried getting through it I just couldn’t.
