The best Nicholas Sparks book hands down. I am a sucker for his romance novels with the North Carolina feel (which is what’s inspiring me to do a trip to Wilmington next month) it’s so magical. This book has that plus a sort of thriller twist and it’s honestly one of my favorite books I’ve ever read.

I’ve read it for the first time back in ~2010 when I was really into his novels but I had to read it again.
