Claimed by J.R. Ward
4.0
3.5 stars, rounded to 4
Claimed almost read like it was written by a different author. No name/brand-dropping or excessive use of slang here. It was also more of a paranormal mystery/romantic adventure than the straight paranormal romance that Ward typically writes. It was a welcome surprise!
Claimed ends on a cliffhanger, so be prepared to wait until 2022 for the next installment. Xhex, Blade, Rehv, and John Matthew briefly make appearances througout the story. I hope Ward really builds a Wolven world, because I'm intrigued.
