it was a good read. the author created an amazing atmosphere and characters that make the audience infuriated, which was the intention.
my complaints are that it took almost half the book to get into the plot and the story didn’t go in the best direction it could have. lots of potential to explore the dark horror of the wild folk more and barely even touched on the native american roles, which is ironic because of ‘villain’ Mamunappeht’s importance.
overall it was an enjoyable read but it bugs me the amount of potential this has to be better. though i would still recommend it for a nice october read.
