The Afterlife of Walter Augustus by Hannah Lynn

3.0

This book started out really promising. I liked Walter, I liked the descriptions, I liked Letty. But then the story started dragging, the author had to keep proving how much of a doormat Letty was by having her do more and more doormat-y things. I finally gave up at half way through. I had started to forget what the plot of this was it kept dragging on so much.

People seem to generally like it, I see as I scroll through, and I see why, the author did create a vibrant world and Interim, for which the rules are clearly defined. I just couldn't get with the pace. I hope you have better luck.
