The Most Important Thing: Uncommon Sense for the Thoughtful Investor by Howard Marks

5.0

I would say that "The Most Important Thing" is the most important investing book of recent times. In this book, Howard Marks discusses what the most important things are for an investor. The chapters on risk are in itself brilliant. Most of the 20 chapters are born out of the memos that he regularly writes, but his insights on the various aspects of investing are very thought provoking. It will help an investor to develop his investment philosophy and get in the right frame of mind.

I had the older version of the book. Now I'm ordering the new one (Illuminated edition) to check the additional thoughts of the other value investors.
