I. Ate. This. Up 😍
After reading book 1 in the series (Pumpkin Spice Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️), I was expecting something similar, but I loved Hazel's story so much more than Jeanie's.
This story felt more "grown up" than book 1 while still keeping its sweet, cutesy, hallmark movie feel moments that us readers got from Pumpkin Spice Cafe - and there is definitely more spice!
Was great to see the return of the characters from book 1.
Hazel and Noah's relationship is steamy, sweet, and a little bit angsty. I was rooting for Noah the whole way through. And his final "declaration" through the highlighted sentences in books 😩 my heart.
Part of me feels Noah is perhaps giving us some subtle Neurodiversity rep, too; as an ADHD girlie, I resonated with some of Noah's traits and personal struggles.
Overall, *chefs kiss*, I will think about this book for a while after finishing.
