This book is fantastic. There’s action. There’s intrigue. There’s plots within plots and plans within plans. At times, it’s dizzying keeping in mind exactly what you as the reader want for the characters. And from a world building perspective, it’s such an interesting place to start from where the main character refuses to participate in the “magic” of the magical world. I truly cannot wait for the next one.
Graphic: Gore, Violence, and Murder
Moderate: Torture and Colonisation
