Conclave by Robert Harris

Finding it quite hard to describe this book without sounding like I’m talking it down. It’s not filled with high drama, twists and turns or high energy intrigue. But it is well paced, full of character and moves at a pace that oddly compels you to read it. It doesn’t move at a break neck thriller pace, yet as I got further into it I found myself eager to pick it back up again.

Saying too much would spoil it, so I won’t say anything...except that I thoroughly enjoyed it for its story and for its basis in reality.
