The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams

4.0

I read Practice Makes Perfect prior to this, it was not my favorite book (mostly because of the characters), you can read my review here:
But, I really enjoyed Sarah Adams writing. I knew I had to read her other books.
The Cheat Sheet is such a good read. I would have rated it 5 stars, but it took me a bit longer than I normally read, and it did not hold my attention 100% of the time. Honestly, those are the only flaws I could tell you.
This book is so cute and fun. I really enjoyed the non-toxic masculinity of the pro football players. It is so refreshing reading about adult men that don't hate women. Sarah Adams does a great job getting into the deep of Bree and Nathan's relationship.
I usually have a hard time relating to friends to lover books because the people just need to speak or literally do anything else, but I related to Nathan & Bree in their situation. Sarah Adams does a great job explaining their relationship, their fears, and why they haven't passed that boundary of friends.
I also love how the book had a fake dating trope, I was cheering when this happened because that was exactly what Bree and Nathan needed to move their friendship into something more.
Nathan is the sweetest guy ever. Him and Bree are so perfect for each other. I really appreciate their friendship and how their relationship was built on trust.
Great book!

I also really liked her FAQ at the end of the book, it made me know her and her writing a bit better, I will definitely continue to read her books. :)
