It is just as striking and beautiful as the previous books and continues in the saga of the Bennett pack, this time from Robbie’s POV. As is typical of the series there are a lot of flashbacks and stories from the past that are peppered throughout the story, so it took a while to figure out where in the timeline we are when this story begins. I’m sure this was quite intentional and I actually enjoyed trying to figure it out. I was a bit disappointed however that because of the timeline, we don’t get to see how Robbie and Kelly go from being pack mates, to being just mates. But again thanks to the flashbacks (especially at the very end) this was only temporary. I loved how this book gave us a lot of twists and turns and as always left us with a sort of cliff-hanger that s sets up the next (and final!) book in the derives. Brothersong, here I come.
