As another review put it, this book is utterly horrific and yet I couldn't put it down. Mostly because it was short and I wanted to be done with it already, but also because the prose is well written even if the content of it is nauseating. I'm not shy of horror, but this was a step too far for me.

Graphic, on page depictions of most things but most notably: assault of a minor by a parent, assault of a minor by a sibling, beastiality, physical abuse between parental figure and child, prostitution, murder, drug use, etc. Not for the faint of heart.
