Having read The Shadow of the Wind, Angel's Game, Marina and The Prisoner of Heaven, this was a complete disappointment. The book has a good plot, but it's poorly developed and the best part of it is the ending of the book and even then, the situation is too rapidly resolved. It's just a disappointment to me as a die hard fan of him.
