I was amazed by the turn of events in this book, how everything occurred, what took place, and the emotions within the words of this story. This was the start of Mara and Edward's relationship. The beginning of it all. It was heartbreaking, but also showed strength and courage, that in spite of the bad that love prevailed. A story that takes you back in time to show how and why things transpired the way they did. It's an exceptional story and a must read.
