It was good. There were parts where it was Teka-teking in the middle, but all in all, it's a good story about fighting for the life you want.

I will say, though, I wish the author gave us more on the supernatural side of things. After the kitsune moved bodies, It would have flowed better if Hiro, being the reporter he is, dug around looking for more info about this curse and how to master it like the former boss had.

A huge chuck of the book was them, Hiro and Raiden, running around in circles not having a plan, Hiro and his Insecurities, pack members questioning Raiden's leadership and the kitsune mentally tormenting Hiro

A chapter or two would have been nice where Hiro becomes a bit badass, I mean, he had a very powerful spirit with him🤷🏾‍♀️ instead of always calling on Raiden through the bond to save him.

Also another thing, the Book being a paranormal romance, some of the characters being supernatural, I found it a bit weird that Raiden's pack didn't have like a library or Whatever where their magical history Is stored.

Also , a "family" witch/ necromancer, etc. that works for the pack or elders... like a source of magical knowledge, they would have gone to the minute they wanted to know how to break the Curse.

Also, Had Hiro learned to control the kitsune, I would have loved a Smexy scene of both of them in that half Shifted form😩🔥🤭
