E.R. Nurses: Walk My Rounds with Me: True Stories from America's Greatest Unsung Heroes by Matt Eversmann, Chris Mooney, James Patterson

While I don’t usually rate non-fiction books, just know this one deserves all the stars.

I’m a sucker for a good James Patterson book and this was no different. I love his non-fiction work just as much as his thrillers. This book tells the many stories of ER nurses across the US, both in major hospitals and small towns. Each chapter is a different nurse telling a story or two about a shift they had. I would have preferred this to be told from less people, so that we could stick with each individual more and hear about the different experiences they may have witnessed. However I still enjoyed this immensely. Some stories were heartbreaking, others were heartwarming. Some were disgusting and some were hilarious. I really enjoyed immersing myself into the life of an ER Nurse yet I know this book still won’t even come close to the real deal. At the end of the day, nurses are the most unappreciated heroes of this world.

Thank you to @grandcentralpub and @jamespattersonbooks for this #gifted copy!
