Not everyone is going to like this one. The writing style is like a stream of consciousness at times and can be challenging. The characters are unlikeable and you’ll probably come to hate most of them. The imagery is gritty and gross. If you can deal with all that, then I think you’ll end up appreciating this book. The mystery of the funhole and the parallel it plays to the relationships of the characters was enough to keep me hooked. I think it will difficult to forget this book.
