Anything can happen on an island filled with celebrities who have more money than they know what to do with and secrets that they will pay anything to hide. The Club provides space for them to be out of the public eye, secluded from cameras and press, living lavishly. But as things begin to unravel, drugs, greed, criminal and spoiled behavior come together in a deadly storm.

Generally I don't care for books with such a deplorable cast of characters (there were only a couple of sympathetic people). The climatic scenes are super far fetched though I appreciated the redemptive moments. Overall though, I suspended reality and just enjoyed the ride. The writing was excellent and thrust me into another world and I was on the edge of my seat as the pieces came together.
