I was looking for an adventure book, and I definitely found it. While some of the pieces of this felt like an old white dude’s fantasy (two extremely well-educated, traditionally hot individuals who got married, made a shit ton of money, and could retire before they were 40, and spent the rest of their lives adventuring around the world), I did like the overall puzzles and action that were included in this book. I partially listened to this one as an audiobook, partially read as an e-book, and partially read a physical copy, which is probably why it took me so long to actually finish the book… Even though it took me a while, I did enjoy it overall. I may or may not pick up the next one… To be determined.
