A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

2.0

I don't even know how to rate this. I had thought perhaps it would have something more than what I know from the Mickey Mouse version, but Disney really got it right. Quick little read. I was surprised, though, at how quickly Scrooge "gets it" and is ready to atone--basically with the first ghost. I didn't remember that from the cartoon.

As a kid we went to see A Christmas Carol at Ford's Theatre, and I was TERRIFIED of both the idea that people get SHOT there and the ghosts, which I found terrifying (I was 6 years old I think?).
