An Extraordinary Lord by Anna Harrington

3.0

This was enjoyable if you could not think too hard about the political implications of the plot (which gets morally muddy). The hero was too inflated and because of his own past couldn't recognize the competency of the heroine, to the point of selfishness. Veronica was badass, I don't know why she liked this guy to begin with, let alone deal with his nonsense. The pacing was also a bit off and this was too long.

However, this sounds really negative with I did have an ok time with the story and particularly enjoyed the "oh no we almost died" horniness and resulting back alley BJ. Just not as well executed as others in the series.
