Finding My Pack by Lane Whitt

1.0

This book started out well, but quickly went downhill. I liked the unique aspect of our heroine being homeless. And it makes sense that she wouldn’t necessarily know the same things as someone who didn’t grow up homeless and went to school.

But her character is contradictory. She’s constantly complaining and throwing fits when the men assume she doesn’t know something, then she turns around and has no clue about things she should know about. Especially if she basically grew up in a library, as she claims, and she has perfect photographic memory. Instead, she makes mistakes that make her seem like an idiot.

I also wish there would’ve been a note in the description about how this is a reverse harem book. I’m not a big fan of those, but my main problem is that there are EIGHT lovers. Two or three would’ve been plenty... but eight?! That’s ridiculous. I had a hard time keeping everyone straight, even though the author tries to drill unique characters into our heads.
