**Book Review: Whale Done by Stuart Gibbs**

*Whale Done* is the latest installment in Stuart Gibbs's FunJungle series, a middle-grade animal mystery series that I absolutely adore. In this book, Teddy, the son of two biologists working at FunJungle, faces new adventures after their trailer burns down. With his father off to Argentina for a research project and his mother living in her office, Teddy heads to LA with his girlfriend, Summer, and her mother.

In LA, they join Doc and Cass to perform an autopsy on a baby blue whale beached on a private shore. When the whale unexpectedly explodes, even bigger issues surface, including the theft of sand from the beach. What could whales and sand possibly have in common? It's up to Summer and Teddy to unravel the mysteries and save the day.

*Whale Done* is another solid entry in the series. I’m excited to read the only other currently published book I have left. Stuart Gibbs is an outstanding author of middle-grade novels, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series.
