I had seen this movie about 15 years ago and enjoyed it but had never gotten around to reading the book. Saw this at the library the other day and figured why not.
This is a very good book.
I'm not going into the plot because most everybody knows the plot already.
The thing that dragged me into the book was the characters. Really interesting, engaging and Grisham made me care about what happened to them.
Plot unrolls at a nice clip and was sufficiently interesting to keep me turning the pages although he reveals who did it quite a bit earlier in the book than was done in the movie.
All in all I enjoyed this quite a bit.
